- The MS (Management Science) & SCM (Supply Chain Management) design laboratory focuses on research involving the design, analysis, and implementation of distributed systems.
- A distributed system is the decentralized collection of autonomous organizations that can be logically or physically different to one another, but cooperate with each other to achieve a global goal.
- Members work on research involving the design of collaborative scheme, the performance analysis with respect to the degree of information sharing in distributed manufacturing systems.
